I absolutely love when the kids bring home art projects. It's so hard for me to throw anything away but I hate being a pack rat much more than I hate pitching the occasional works of art. I keep a Rubbermaid file for each kid for every year that they are in school (preschool included) and save the best of the best so that one day they can go through and take a trip down memory lane.
This month Talan has come home with several great projects. I tear up each time he hands them over, beaming with pride. I especially love the Santa hand print ornament. So beautiful and something I will treasure for life.
Speaking of Talan, yesterday they put on a short Christmas program at his school. The kids sang songs and had cookies and juice. I could kick myself for forgetting my camera! Whereas the last time Talan stood and didn't sing at all, this time he was completely into it, singing and dancing along. I'm so upset! We did ask a classmate's parents for a copy of their video so all hope is not lost.
And on to Eric. Last night he got a little crazy with the American Girl dolls.
Gotta love Eric and his antics!
