The leprechaun was almost cold busted this year! He snuck into Reese's room to put some festive garland on her fan. She must have heard him because she started stirring. The leprechaun stopped in his tracks, threw the pile of garland, and hid behind the bed. Reese called out for her Dad and when he came running into the room she had her hands over her eyes. She said "I am scared....I saw a big silver streak coming down from my fan". Kevin assured her that all was well and he must have had her distracted because the leprechaun was able to grab his garland and rush off. He didn't want to take any chances so he left the decorations for downstairs this year. Close call!
The kids woke up and were very excited to see the decorations.
Even more exciting? The green donuts!
The donuts were followed by green eggs and green milk. Talan does his best to copy everything Reese does...including her poses.
Yes, the boots are already on his feet at 8am!
At lunch Reese found that the leprechaun had cut her sandwich into a four leaf clover and snuck her a green cookie. At least the morning went well and wasn't tainted by whatever it is that I came down with but I can't say the same for the afternoon. It was rough!
Sounds like that leprechaun will have to be more careful next year. Whew, that was a close call! BTW, can these pictures be any more presh?!!
