Will I Make It?

I had my regular check-up today at the doctor. I LOVE my doctor. That's one reason I'm really glad that I'm scheduled for a c-section - I was able to chose who delivers my baby and got to pick Dr. Martin. He's amazing. He decided to do an ultrasound today to check up on my fluid levels. They were at 9 which is the lowest end of what's considered normal. They can be from 5-35 but on average stay between 13 and 15. He didn't seem overly concerned and decided that he'd just check them again at my next appointment on the 19th of this month. That being said, I am now wondering if my initial c-section date will end up being moved up some afterall. I've really had a strong feeling that I will go early. That being said, most of the time when I have these "strong feelings" of mine they are wrong. Hey, at least I can admit to that! After 8 months of staying on track with weight gain I had a 4 pound spike between my last appointment and this latest one. The problem is that there was only 2.5 weeks between them! That's quite a bit in a short amount of time. Fortunately Dr. Martin was pleased rather than upset by it. I'm up a total of 21 pounds whereas he feels like I could have gained 35 by now and it would be just fine. Even knowing that the weight is pregnancy, it's hard to see the scale going up, up, up. That's what I get for having my Mom and Mom-in-law here for the holidays. I have never in my life eaten so much junk food over the course of two weeks! It was all so delicious! That just made me hungry. Off to try to dig up some leftover goodies.......
