8 Years

I intended on posting this yesterday but with Kevin out of town I had zero time to get on the computer. September 11th is always such an emotional day for me. This year, with Reese in school, we decided to give her a lesson in history and told her about what happened. It was so weird to start with "Eight years ago". It's very hard to believe that it's been that long. In some ways it still feels like it happened yesterday. I will never forget exactly where I was and exactly how I felt when I heard. I may not have had time to sit and type yesterday but I made time to remember all of those who lost their lives on that horrible day and all of the troops who have and are still fighting for our beautiful country. Reese wore red, white, and blue yesterday in honor of 9/11. She looked so cute. And to end on a happy note, here is a video of the kiddos:
