Today was our neighborhood block party. We had a blast but there is no photo proof of that fact because we were too busy enjoying ourselves to snap any pictures. I've said it before and I'll say it a million times more....I love our neighborhood.
The party was definitely the highlight of my week. Talan has been a bear. I'm not a huge fan of this phase. Teething? Not a ton of fun. Poor little dude is miserable. I try my best to take his mind off of the pain but it's nearly impossible. He has been moaning non-stop for three days (when he isn't busy screaming bloody murder). Even in the midst of all of the pain he manages to crack the occasional smile:

After tonight's party, we came home, put Talan to bed, and had a movie night. Reese & I have been so anxious to see the Hannah Montana Movie and tonight was the night! I may have camera slacked at the block party but I made up for it. I had the camera nearby while we were watching and captured some video. I swear to you that we did NOT encourage any of this. This is Reese. This is exactly how she is at all times, camera or not (although she does prefer that the camera is rolling). I loved the movie but it was hard to decide between watching it or her:
Miley Cyrus, eat your heart out! Reese & I are going to see her in concert next month. After seeing the movie and how she reacted, I can barely stand the wait. I love being a Mom and I love that little girl! What a gem!!! Thanks for reading.

Awesome!! She is going to have the time of her life at the concert next month. I have a feeling she's not going to stop dancing the ENTIRE time!
