Let it Snow

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The 5" of snow we got last night helped. It's so beautiful outside. Fortunately it hasn't been as cold this week as it was last week so it's enjoyable. I still haven't braved it because I've been fighting some sort of crud for two weeks now and it's just not letting up. My PJs and the couch have been my best friends the past couple of days. I saw the cutest gift idea in one of Reese's Highlights magazines so I bought all of the stuff and we sat down together on Sunday to put them together for her friends. They turned out really cute and helped keep her mind off of the fact that my parents left that morning. She was more emotional than usual (which is VERY emotional). Here are the finished gifts (it's crushed Fruit Loops inside): Today was Reese's last day of school. They will go back in two weeks. This morning she decided to make her teacher a Christmas card. In case you can't read it, it says: "Dear Mrs. Towle, You allready gave me a gift. You gave me you because your the best teacher. You no you are the best singer. Sincerly, Reese PS. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!" I love the humor in the picture she drew on the back! She really is funny. I asked her if Mrs. Towle liked it and she said that when she gave it to her she said that it was the best gift she could have given her. So sweet.

  1. Maitlen's been dying to make those sprinkles. Never thought about giving it as a gift, great idea, esp. when you have a lot of friends to give gifts to. Economical, homemade = perfect! Love you guys!
