I have been meaning to update this blog for days. I feel like a broken record in saying "time is flying" but it truly is. I have had zero free time lately. Every moment is filled with errands, chores, and trying like crazy to cross things off of my mile long list.
This past Sunday we had yet another busy day. Reese had her first field trip with the Daisies. They went to a local nursing home and sang Christmas carols. She had such a great time and looked adorable!:
On Monday night, long after we put the kids to bed, we finally went up to go to sleep. We found the sweetest surprise waiting for us. This first note was in between our pillows:
And we each had one under our pillows:
So cute!

Talan.....oh
Talan. What am I going to do with this kid? His latest "trick" is locking himself in the bathroom so that he can then use Reese's step stool to climb onto the counter and play with the faucet. Off, on, off, on, off, on, etc. Awesome. Is it a coincidence that he even has the same fly away hair on top of his head that Dennis the Menace sports? I think not:
And now for your Eric the Elf update. He has been pretty well behaved this week. He hid in the chandelier on Monday night. This morning when we woke up we found that he had made a lasso out of a rope and used it to crawl from the chandelier to his new spot....above our basement door:
It's so much fun to see what he'll do next. Crazy elf!

That is one clever little elf. And one clever little girl, what a sweetie pie leaving you a note under your pillow....ahhhhh. And little Mr. Menace, oh how I want to gobble you up!
