Today was the last "official" day of school. It still counts even though she got on the bus at 8:45 and off of the bus at 10:25. One of our neighbors started a tradition. On the last day of school we all meet at her house for donuts and the kids all get on the bus together. We meet at 8am. Reese woke us up this morning at 7:45. Whoopsie! We had to wake Talan up which is often a total nightmare but this morning we had him at "donut".
Our 1st grader suddenly looked a lot like the 2nd grader she turned into over the course of a day.
I'd have to say it was a pretty good turn out for an early morning party!

She may look tiny compared to the kids she's in company of....but somehow she looks very grown-up to me.

School's out for summer!!!!! As the next two blog posts will prove, we're ready for it. I can't fit all of the fun and photos into one. Hooray for summer vacay!!!!
