Let's Play Ball!

Reese decided that she wanted to try softball this year so we signed her up for "Coach Pitch".  We are so excited because she loves it!  She had her first game on Friday and it was so much fun.  She left the game and was pumped all night long, talking about how much fun she had and how proud she was of how well she played.  She played pitcher's helper the first inning and in the second (there are only two) she was on third.  She went on and on about how she helped get three people out and scored a point for her team. 

We were so rushed to get out of the house and to the ball field on time that I forgot to grab the camera.  I took a couple of photos with my phone but none of the pictures I took of her in action turned out.  This is the only one worth sharing:

I did, however, capture one gem.  Talan was so excited to see his cousin, Julia, at the game.  They played really well together and at one point they held hands to take a stroll.  So sweet!

On Saturday they took team photos.  Once again I left the camera behind so all I have is a terrible quality iPhone photo:

Fortunately we'll have several photo ops throughout the summer.  Reese has a full day tomorrow and only goes into school for 2 hours on Tuesday.  And then?  It's on!  We're so ready for the summer!
