Heather called this morning to see if Julia could spend some time with us this afternoon while she went to a meeting. We were happy to have such a sweet little visitor!

The two of them were much easier than their three older siblings! There was no drama, no fighting, and no sassy talk. The two of them played together so well and entertained each other, making my job a piece of cake. I just sat back and took it all in, admiring our darling little babies.
Talan is all about standing on his own today. This video from this morning shows him standing for several seconds before he falls. He's worked his way up to at least a minute and even stood and clapped for a while today.

Maybe I should be more nervous about the whole walking deal but in my opinion once they are mobile it doesn't make a difference whether it's walking or crawling. They can still get into everything at that point. I'm not looking forward to the accidents in the beginning (I'm sure he'll fall a ton and the hardwoods are not very forgiving) but I look forward to being able to put him down in a public place rather than worrying about his hands being all over the ground as he crawls. Who knows? Maybe I'll eat my words later but for now I'm kind of excited about it!
