I am going to break this blogging process down into separate posts otherwise it's going to be a mile long. I'll start with the beginning of our trip. Kevin, Talan, & I rolled out of town on Thursday and headed to Franklin, TN. It was a super easy drive. Talan slept the entire time, only waking up to eat, burp, and for his diaper change. We got there in just over 8 hours but it felt like much less. My parents' house is gorgeous! We were in awe. Our visit was super short because the next morning we were on the road again at the crack of dawn. The drive on Friday felt much longer although it was the same amount of drive time. Talan slept through it all again. Reese was up for almost all of it but she was an angel. We got into town and had enough time to hang out with family for a couple of hours & shower before we were off. Friday night we went to a dinner party celebrating Brian & Heather's upcoming wedding. Talan was overstimulated for a couple of hours but once I got him to sleep I was able to enjoy it. Reese was really excited to be able to join us too. On Saturday we went to the wedding which was beautiful! It was picture perfect. We had so much fun. Reese was super excited to see a real-life bride. We loved catching up with so many friends and recounting years of memories. I am so sad that it's over. Heather was gorgeous and glowing. Brian wasn't too shabby either. ;)
