The kids loved them so it was more than worth the time and effort. She looked so cute in her little birthday crown and was so excited that we were there to see her classmates sing to her. So much fun!

After her party my parents took her out to lunch at her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden. They sang to her and brought out a dessert again this afternoon. She had such a great day. I spent this afternoon baking and decorating her cake for tomorrow. We have her actual birthday party tomorrow evening at Airtastic, a local bouncy house facility. Stay tuned for another onslaught of photos tomorrow. It turned out okay...but the perfectionist in me wasn't 100% pleased with it. Oh well. It's just going to get devoured by kids tomorrow anyway, right? We also put together some gift bags. They turned out pretty cute too.
Today is only the 19th and her birthday is on the 30th. I'm guessing that between now and then we'll have many o' celebration. Five is a big birthday so I hope to make it memorable for her. I still can't believe she's been with us for that long. I cried like a baby when they sang to her this morning at school. I didn't think I'd be emotional. Who am I kidding!?!? I cry over cartoons lately much less my baby turning into a little person in front of my eyes.
Speaking of changing in front of my eyes, I'll end it with a couple shots of Talan. I just can't believe how quickly it's going. He has been so much more alert these past few days. I love seeing his eyeballs rather than just the lids all day long. He's so stinkin' cute! Tell me you don't want to pinch these cheeks:
P.S. HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY OLIVIA! We love you!!
