Singing In The Bathroom

If you know Reese, you know that she is obsessed with singing and dancing. I tivo Ellen every day and usually watch it while I'm cooking dinner at night. Reese normally doesn't pay super close attention and instead plays with her Barbies or colors at the kitchen table but lately she's been into it. The reason being that Ellen has had a "Bathroom Concert Series" where people send in videos of themselves singing in the bathroom. Reese immediately asked me to tape her and send hers in. It took several takes.....first it was her song choice. She started out with Dancing Queen by ABBA. Then she changed her mind and wanted to sing Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. Her third and final choice was a song from her Barbie movie called Believe. She sang it over and over again until she felt like it was perfect. This is what she decided on and I sent in for her: Funny thing is that she does a lot of her "rehearsing" in the bathroom. She'll go in for what should be a 3 minute trip to the toilet. 20 minutes later I'll go looking for her and she is still sitting on the pot singing her heart out. Maybe it's the acoustics? I got lucky and made it onto Ellen's show so maybe Reese will have the same luck. Fingers crossed!
