Look Who's Crawling Now!

What a day! Not only am I (finally) feeling better....but Talan also (finally) decided to crawl!!! We've been encouraging him for weeks and today he finally decided to make it happen. Unofortunately, he hit the milestone one day after his Granddad left town. But fortunately I had the camera ready, knowing that he was almost there, and captured his first moves. I'm thrilled to death and hope that he can really get going on his own these next few days. It will definitely be easier on my arms/back/neck/shoulders. I guess I had better get to child proofing everything. He is already curious and mischievous.....I can't even imagine what it will be like when he has access to more. Today Reese finally got to unleash some energy. Poor thing has a serious case of cabin fever. We're usually on the go but due to all of the illness we've been stuck at home. She got out to go to school on Thursday and Friday but other than that she's been stuck inside. Today she got to get out for a bit to go and celebrate Sophia's 5th birthday. Happy birthday Sophie!!!! The rest of us were sad to miss the party. The party had a princess theme so Reese was very excited to get dressed up.....and had fun posing for pictures before she left: Here's to a great up-and-coming week. Reese has a big surprise coming on Thursday :)
