Let's Get It Poppin'

I keep waiting for it to get better but it hasn't yet. How long does it take for a tooth to push through? Obviously more than a week. I am literally at my wits end. This past week has been terrible. I would hate to know what my heart rate is midday. It's got to be through the roof. His need for constant attention (although it doesn't matter what I do....hold him, put him down, hold him, put him down, hold him, put him down, etc....he still just screams) has made it nearly impossible to get anything done. I can't leave the house with him because he's a nightmare so my list of errands is a mile long.* And the housework? I'm not even sure that my bathrooms are sanitary at this point. Enough of my wah-wah'ing. The bright side of my otherwise craptastic week is that the weather has been awesome. This afternoon, on a whim, we decided to surprise Reese. Kevin went to the school to drop off her bike this afternoon. We rode up together and checked her out of school a little early and rode bikes home. We got home about 15 minutes before the bus so we decided to sit in the front yard to wait for it. Talan is obsessed with the school bus and practically hyperventilates when he sees it coming. It's super cute (and I'll take as much of the cute stuff as I can while going through the not-so-cute phases). We found a really good cure for sore gums....popsicles!

It really did work. Kept him happy for a good 30 minutes or so. Good thing I bought a big box! *I am so sorry, precious Emma, your card is going to be sooooo late! We all love you and hope you had a very happy birthday (blame it on the Ta-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-lan!).
