Reese loves Miley Cyrus. I'm okay with that but I draw the line at Billy Ray. Talan was starting to look a little like him in the way of his mullet so off to KidSnips we went (2 weeks ago....just now getting around to this update). I think it's hilarious that he already needed one when Reese didn't have her first until she was 3 1/2 (and do be honest, she didn't need it then). I made sure that the lady cutting didn't take anything off of the top. Mullet only. It didn't break my heart, my achy breaky heart, to see her get rid of it either.

Yesterday Reese and I had a mommy/daughter date and went to see The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Fun movie! It did bring back some pretty horrendous memories though. Middle school is brutal!!!! I'm glad she still has a few years to be young and carefree before the dreaded pre-teen phase begins. While we were gone, Kevin & Talan hung out in the back yard. Kevin sent me this picture of Talan....I'm so in love with this photo and with the little dude in it!
Now if he would only walk. He's in a wedding in 3 months. He may have to crawl down the aisle. He's just not interested. He's been a bear these past few days. Two molars are poking through but the other two are trying and it's really been tough on him. Poor kid. Other than that he's doing well. Still mostly only saying "What/Who is that?" about 1,500 times a day. He'll repeat some words ("mama", "dada", "papa", "bye bye", "ball") but only when he's in the mood which is about every 10th time I try. He's just not in a real rush to do anything. Taking his sweet time. I have to say, I'm enjoying the ride (in the slow lane!) and I'm not in a rush either. Time goes by way too quickly. The fact that the milestones aren't coming at me at 100mph is quite alright.
