Today was the last football game of the season. I will really miss going to the games. The weather was picture perfect today which made it that much more enjoyable.
After the game we went to a banquet where the kids played laser tag, ate pizza & cake, and got their trophies. They are so
stinkin' cute!
It was just Reese and I there today. This morning
Talan scratched Kevin's eye with his 2 inch long fingernails (my least favorite thing to do is cut his nails so 2 inches might be a small exaggeration but they are super long). He had to go into the doctor to have it looked at and it turns out that he scratched the
cornea in a line from the top of his eye to the bottom. Poor guy has been in massive pain all day long.
So I sat and observed the kids at the banquet and noticed Parker (
remember Parker?) and Reese interacting. He put his little arm around her every time he talked to her and where she was he wasn't far behind. As I was leaving, his Mom pulled me aside and told me that Parker is in love with Reese. She said that on a daily basis he comes home commenting on how cute she is or how much he loved her outfit that day. When I walked up to tell her it was time to go, she asked me to take a picture of them:
I have to admit, it is really adorable. That said, I'll have my eye on those two!
