Vamp Fam

Today was another action packed day. I have just now been able to sit down for more than 5 minutes. We were 20 minutes late to our neighborhood Halloween party because I just couldn't seem to pull it all together today. There weren't enough minutes. Even with all of the chaos, I would do it all over again tomorrow if I could. I LOVE Halloween! This year Reese was adamant being a vampire. She knew that we would all be dressing up and begged and pleaded that we go as a family of vampires. I loved the idea and happily obliged. This afternoon it was finally time to pull together our costumes and head out to the party. We arrived to a serious house full. I counted more than 50 kids. Add 25 (ish) adults to that and you have a massive crowd. Everyone ate and drank for about 2 hours before we gathered outside for the traditional photo. We usually have a hard time keeping up with Reese but this year she didn't have quite as much steam so it worked out well. Talan perfected his "tick-a-tee" and a huge "tank ew" after the candy was dropped in his bag. We had a blast, per usual. I'm sad that it's over.....but I still have the after Halloween sales to look forward to tomorrow. I'm planning to stock up for next year!
