Fun in Florida

I have a ton to update but I'm going to have to break it up into sections. I'm now sitting on the floor in my living room after a long 10 hour drive home and finally able to update from here thanks to my brother, Jeff, who gave me his old laptop. Hooray!
Our trip started last Friday when we drove to Tennessee, our usual halfway stop, and stayed the night with my parents. I bought Kevin a long board for Father's Day and he was very excited to put it to good use on the hills around my parents' neighborhood.

Not bad for an old man.  Once he was good and worn out (about 2 minutes in.....totally kidding!  He was actually at it for a while), we had the most amazing meal.  My parents spent the day making a Thai feast and it was delicious.  And can you guess what we did next, in the middle of the summer, in the 100 degree temperature?  We went outside to sit around a campfire.  Because that makes all of the sense in the world, right?  My parents promised the kids s'mores but instead of settling for a tiny little fire my Dad went a little crazy with the firewood. 

Afterwards Talan attacked my Mom with chocolate kisses. 

The next morning it was off to Florida for a week of fun.
