Reese was so excited to have met Eddie's nieces, Brooke and Erin. They were very fast friends and had such a cute little connection.

Talan was gearing up to see fireworks for the very first time.
He fell in love with Heather.
And then the fireworks started. Talan's reaction was priceless. Even better than I'd imagined.
I caught a little clip of him. He must have said "yook at dat" 100 times that night. He was in awe and had such a great time. He's still talking about the fireworks.
We really had a great time. In fact, so great that we're going to try to make the 4th in Niceville an ongoing tradition.
As we were leaving the house before going to see the fireworks, we joked to Kevin's mom that she should leave the light on "like Motel 6". And that lead to Kevin insisting that she turn down the sheets and leave little mints on the pillows, too. He was obviously pulling her leg but the joke was on him. This is what we came home to:
