Rubbing Elbows

I entered a contest online a few days ago.  By chance I went into my junk folder to clear it out on Thursday and saw a message letting me know I'd won 4 tickets to a pre-screening of the movie "Parental Guidance".  With 4 hours notice we decided it would be a fun family outing so off we went.

The movie was hilarious.  There was quite a bit of potty humor so the kids were in Heaven.  There is a song about "doodie" in there.  Today Talan decided that he wants "daddy to come into the bathroom to sing the doodie song every time I poop".

After the movie there was a meet-and-greet with two of the kids who starred in the movie.  We met Joshua Rush and Bailee Madison.  Both were adorable and so sweet to the kids.  They took the time to really chat them up and gave autographs, handshakes, and hugs.  Reese had a bunch of questions to ask but when she got to Joshua she decided that she had a "huge crush on him" and clammed up.  And when she got to Bailee she was incredibly starstruck and froze again.

They were two incredibly gracious, polite, and humble kids.  We had such a great night and loved meeting them.  Highly recommend the movie....especially if your kids laugh every time they hear the words "butt", "doodie", or "fart" (as if Kevin and I don't laugh just as hard as our kids).
