I'm going to backtrack some being that I didn't update over the weekend. We had a really awesome few days. On Saturday my parents treated Reese, my Mom, & I to a Broadway show in downtown Chicago. We went and saw Mary Poppins. To say that it was amazing is an understatement. It was
truly magical. Reese was in awe the entire time. It was such a fun outing for the three of us and a memory that I believe Reese will have for life. I know I will!

I also continued working on perfecting the dresses. I still don't have it down but I plan to continue working on it until I do. Here are another two that I did:

On Sunday, Father's Day, we spent the afternoon at a festival in downtown
Naperville. It was mostly food and activities to keep kids busy. We had a really nice time and stayed out as long as we could last in the heat.
Talan was a little trooper. Speaking of....I know that the doc said the medicine would take a week to 10 days to kick in but we're already seeing a change in him. I feel like every time I admit to something on this blog it backfires so I will now speak in code:
e-hey as-hey

Back to Father's Day - we came home and had a super
delish dinner; fried shrimp
po-boys and potato salad. Holy yum. It was
sooooo good!

After dinner we played beauty shop with my Dad. It's a little Something-About-Mary slash
Sanjaya, isn't it? What a sport. He was game for the
hairdo but drew the line there after my Mom brought up Adam Lambert and stood up to dig out her eyeliner.

What a day. And what an awesome thing to celebrate. I'm lucky to be married to the best Daddy on earth....my hubs. Thanks for all you do babe. Olive juice and elephant shoes too! You're the best!!!!
