Yesterday I had a lovely afternoon. Reese's class organized a Mother's Day Tea for us. They sang several songs and served all of us Mom's tea and cookies. I was so touched by the beautiful gifts she made for me.
She was very proud to have made me cry (surprise!) and was sure to point out my tears to anyone and everyone who would listen. These are the moments that make all of the hard work (and headaches, and sleepless nights, and tantrums, etc.) that goes into being a Mother worth it and then some.
