They loaded up in the car early morning. Off they went....and twenty minutes later they were back in the driveway having forgot something.
They made it about 30 minutes before Talan got hungry so first stop was for donuts.
They finally made it to Franklin and first thing on the list was cooking with Nana.
They visited a neighbors horse and gave him a snack.
And then Talan got hungry so they stopped for lunch.
Next up was the Franklin Children's Museum.
And then Talan got hungry.
Papa let them help out with yard work.
And then Talan got hungry....for homemade pizzas
They love the Olympic swimming pool sized bathtub at Camp Boudreaux!
Next up? Talan was practically starving.....
They drove to Chattanooga and visited the aquarium.
And then Talan got hungry.
They got to stay at a hotel overnight that night.
Soon after checking in, Talan got hungry.
They had a blast at the hotel pool.
On the way home they stopped at another museum.
Guess who got hungry?
Back in Franklin....and guess what time it is? Teeeeeeeeeeea Party Tiiiiiiiiiiiime!
Nana and Papa weren't quite worn out enough so they thought a trip to the Nashville Zoo was in order.
Reese was thrilled to have been picked out of the crowd to help out.....which meant that she had to hold a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. Yuck!
It was time make the trip back to Naperville. But someone needed a snack first. I'll let you guess who.
They stopped at the Superman statue in Metropolis, Illinois for a photo opp.
Aaaaaaaand another stop for food.
My parents spent the day here today and will head back to Franklin tomorrow. This is the last picture on my Dad's camera. Talan eating. Go figure.
I know the kids will remember this trip forever. Thanks, Mom & Dad, for the special memories!
too funny, but at Camp McCool, the stop every 5 minutes would be to check out the next bathroom. my kids have to "check-out" the bathroom every where we go!
