First Day of Second

Today has been an exciting day in our house.  Reese is officially a 2nd grader.  This morning we went out and took our traditional "first day" picture in front of the house.  It's so crazy to see how much she has changed:

All of the kids at the bus stop were excited to be back in school:

Unfortunately the bus was running late so we ended up taking Reese so that she could line up on the black-top in the back of the school with the rest of the kids. 

Talan broke down when the kids walked into the school.  This morning all he could talk about was going to school.  He thought he'd be able to go in with her.  He'll be so excited to see her this afternoon.  I can't wait to hear all about her day!
