Spelling Bee

I am a zombie today. I'm so tired! Tonight is my Bunco night with the neighborhood ladies. I hope I can muster up enough energy to make it. Who am I kidding? I WILL find the energy. I've been watching those ladies drink wine for months. They had better meet me at the door with a nice big glass of red. Yesterday was a rough day for Talan. He was spitting up a lot more than usual and rearing up his legs like his belly was bothering him. And his toots? Holy truck driver! Some were so loud that they scared me enough to make me jump. Poor little guy. I am guessing that it was something I ate but I don't know what. My diet yesterday was fairly bland and plain. The night before was the jambalaya so it could have just taken a while to bother him. Anyway, he was very restless all day. He barely slept and I had to hold him for most of it. I was looking forward to laying down with both kids when Reese asked for her nap but that didn't happen. He just couldn't sleep. So far he's doing a little better today but I'm definitely pooped. Kevin finished his class yesterday and took the big test. He is very confident that he passed (yay!). He helped me out early this morning and then decided to work from home today. I'm so glad that the weekend is in sight. I'm ready for my other half around the house. It's been my first full week alone and it's definitely been a lot of work. Last night when Kevin got home we were discussing our days, per usual, and he was asking how I was feeling. We have to spell a lot when we talk because Reese pays very close attention to everything that we say. Here is how our conversation went: Kevin - "So how are you holding up?" Stacie - "I'm good but it's been hard because S-H-E needs more A-T-T-E-N-T-I-O-N than usual." Reese - "Who are you talking about? R-E-E-S-E?" I was laughing so hard! Not only did she know that we were talking about her but she spelled her name! It was hilarious. Happy Friday and thanks for reading!
