Two Things...

One: This is the picture Reese drew inside of my Mother's Day card. She does family portraits all of the time but this is my very favorite. Notice my "sound shoes" and the crown on my head. And as always, Kevin & Talan have matching faux hawks. Two: Funny story I remembered from yesterday. We were at church and Reese wanted to come up with me during Communion. I have such a hard time explaining things to her sometimes. She asked about what it was all about. I did my best to explain (and probably did a piss poor job as usual) and told her that she would get to participate when she turns 8 and goes through her First Holy Communion. She walked up with me, I received Communion, and on the way back she tapped me and said "This is really no fair. I'm hungry too! They should have let me have a snack!". I laughed.....out loud.....inappropriately.....in the middle of it all.
