Besties Reunion

Meilina & Emma flew in yesterday. It is the first time I've seen Mei in over a year and the girls haven't seen each other in a year and a half. They were so, so excited and the excitement hasn't died down at all. I have never heard more giggling in my life. The two of them are a mess. It's like not a day has passed since they saw each other last and they picked up right where they left off. I've had an emotional couple of days. Meilina couldn't have come at a better time. In addition to my rough patch, we had to take Emma to the walk-in clinic emergency clinic today because she broke out in a rash. It turns out that it's just something viral and she'll just need to take allergy meds to help get rid of it. We're hoping we can start fresh tomorrow. Our plan is to head into downtown Chicago to visit Navy Pier. Tomorrow night we're hosting a little cocktail party over here. Looking forward to good times with great friends.
