And she happens to be related to me. My Mom proved, once again, that she is super human. My Dad rushed her to the hospital very early on Tuesday morning after she had been suffering chest pains. They quickly determined that it was not a heart attack but most likely gall bladder complications. Tests confirmed it and that evening she had surgery to remove it. Not only was it not functioning but it was also very badly infected with gangrene. The pain she endured is unimaginable. It had to have been excruciating. She has been through so much and just keeps fighting hard and pushing through it all. I admire her for more reasons than I can list but her strength and endurance top the chart of virtues I aspire toward. She's headed home today where she will continue to recover.
