My Reesen for Living

I am beaming with pride. Today was our Parent-Teacher Conference with Ms. Sheley and I really and truly couldn't be more proud. I'm going to brag for a minute.....I gave birth to a gem. I'm so proud. SO proud. If I could come out of my skin right now I would. While Kevin & I stood outside of the classroom waiting for our turn to talk to her teacher, we admired the artwork on the wall. There was a project outside that caught my eye. The kids had to collect leaves and make a piece of art out of them. This is Reese's creation: It's a "Leaf Man"! It sounds crazy to say how proud I am of her leaf man but I really am! I didn't take a picture of the entire wall with the rest of the photos but that's only because they really weren't worthy (did I just say that?). She is so creative. This IS my blog....so I'm allowed to brag....but I will try to keep it at a minimum. She is doing great. Her teacher had nothing but great things to say. She asked that we encourage more creative writing and suggested letting her make a grocery list. We wasted no time and had her write one up tonight. I wish I could bottle and sell the cuteness in this list she wrote up! I'd be a millionaire: Thanks (or no thanks) to the conferences, school was out today and again tomorrow. You do what it takes to get through the day. Today, that meant making a music video. Good times!
