A Case of "The Monday's"

I am just not ready for a new week. This weekend was so much fun that I didn't want it to end. We have to wait a whole year for Halloween to come again. I can't quite let go so I'm going to post one last thing in honor of one of my favorite days of the year. This is a picture that Reese drew: (I love how the witch is saying "weeeee"!) I have a feeling that this will be one of those weeks. Long and rough. Kevin is out of town both Tuesday & Thursday. I am now watching a friend's little girl, Lydia (the one from the sleepover), in the mornings and afternoons. She's a good girl but it's a different dynamic so I'm learning how to make it work best. The novelty of having a friend over every day will take a while to wear off so until then I will have to deal with Reese being even more hyper & excited than usual. Talan is changing daily. He's really gotten fast with the crawling so I truly cannot take my eyes off of him for a second. He's into everything and now working to pull himself up on whatever he can get his hands on. He's also into putting anything and everything into his mouth. I am dreading the biggest project on my list....revamping the playroom. 75% of Reese's toys are choking hazards. 25 Barbie's x's 2 shoes each = nightmare. I have to get it done so that he has somewhere he can go where it's okay to dig into everything. Right now there is no "safe" place in the house for him. Mom, please come back! I need your organizational skills bad!!!! And speaking of Talan, here he is this morning. Such a little joy! His smile is the magic medicine and just what I need to turn this week around.
