Cloudy With A Chance of Barf

These outfits below? My Mom made them for the kids. Presh!!!! This week has been hectic (to say the least). Kevin rarely travels but was gone on Tuesday and is gone again today. Tuesday morning is when my Mom went into the hospital. It was hard not having him here to lean on. I was driving myself insane waiting for an update from my Dad and had to do something to keep busy. I decided on cleaning the fridge. Trash day is Wednesday so I usually clean out all of the leftovers and anything else that needs to be thrown out on Tuesdays. I dug in and started cleaning. There were a couple of Tupperware containers that should have been cleaned out long before so I was having a little dry heave fest trying to get it all down the sink and ground up. About 5 minutes into it, still standing at the sink, I felt something chunky and wet on my feet. Talan was in bed so it wasn't him. I looked down and saw what appeared to be vomit all over my feet and it was coming from the cabinets under the sink. I opened up the cabinet and more wet chunks came pouring out. The pipe underneath the sink had burst so all of the nasty old food I had ground up was now covering everything under the sink and was in between my toes. I thought I was going to die. Any other day and Kevin would have been there. I, honest to God, just stood there in the pile of nastiness, for who-knows-how-long. I didn't know what in the heck to do! I finally walked on my heels to the bathroom, washed my feet and took a few deep breaths (between sobs), and then grabbed towels to start in on the mess. It stunk so bad that I had to throw away the two bath towels I used to clean. I finally got it all out and cleaned and was then stuck with a busted pipe. Fortunately my Uncle Kenny was in town visiting and came over to fix it. When it rains, it pours....and this time it poured rotten food that looked and smelled like poo. Speaking of chunks, I took a video of my little chunk playing this morning. He is obsessed with the mirror and finding "the baby". His newest trick is waving so I tried to get that on tape but of course he wouldn't do it when the camera was rolling. His top teeth are coming in so he's been in a lot of pain this week. Poor little guy. Hopefully they'll pop through in the next couple of days. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers this week. I think we are all looking forward to getting through the next couple of days and starting fresh.
