Yesterday afternoon we took Reese to the roller skating rink for the first time. I'm not sure who had more fun, Reese or Mama! I was nervous in the beginning but just like riding a bike, I quickly fell right back into it. It brought back so many memories!
Reese did great. She was shaky and a bit apprehensive to start but by the end she was loving it. Talan and Kevin hung out at the snack bar and watched us. We weren't sure if T was going to make it but he did great and when he started to get fussy Kevin bribed him with a corn dog. It worked (don't act surprised).
Tomorrow I'm going to take her back. She's going to go to an hour long lesson first and then I'll grab some skates and join her out there afterwards. I found out that they have "stroller skating" sessions on Wednesdays so I'm planning to check that out as well. I'm excited to pack up Talan and hit the rink! Great exercise, great fun.
