Show Me Ya Teeth!

We're officially over the third teething hump. Talan has two new pearly whites on top making it six all together. Thank goodness he's getting teeth faster than Reese did because he needs them to chew the mass amounts of food he eats every day. I've been trying so hard to teach him the basic baby sign language in hopes of avoiding the screaming matches at meal time. He gets so worked up if I don't shovel it in fast enough that he just screams at the top of his lungs. If he looks over his tray and sees an empty plate or container? Get ready for a serious meltdown. He makes a fist, grinds his teeth together and his entire body starts shaking....followed by loud screams. It's insanity. On the other hand, I have Reese who wouldn't eat at all if we gave her the option. The other day we were feeding Talan. I cut up some food and put it on his tray so that he could feed himself. We were laughing at how quickly he was shoveling it in and I looked at Reese and said, "you take after your Nana and Talan takes after your Papa". She looked at me like I was crazy and said "Papa eats like a dog too?". Too funny. Little man has come up with a new stink face. It's a little more intense than version 1.0. All I have to do is point the camera in his direction. When he sees the red light flash, he puts on his best stink. It's hilarious. Here is some photo proof from the past few days:
I know what you're thinking...."He's in PJs in every photo. Do they ever dress that poor kid?". Changing him out of PJs only happens if we're leaving the house. Otherwise he pretty much lives in them. Judge away people! There's no shame in my game.
I can't leave you with stink face in your mind so here's a photo I took of this kids tonight. I'm so proud of what a great big sister Reese is. They love each other so much. Very sweet.
