Check out the gorgeous quilt I got in the mail yesterday.
This was made by three close friends of mine….close friends that I’ve never met in person. We, along with about 15 others, bonded while I was pregnant with Reese. We were all expecting babies in April 2004 and shared our questions, worries, excitement, and concerns by way of a message board online. When our sons and daughters were born we branched off and started a private message board where we stay in touch and where we have watched the kids we were pregnant with together become the little people they are today. It probably seems a bit strange to feel so connected with people I’ve never physically met but I do. I’m so grateful to have such an amazing group of women in my life. I can’t wait to one day share with Talan the significance behind the beautiful quilt they made for him.
And speaking of Talan, he is 12 weeks old today. Here are his past 12 weeks in pictures:
I can't believe 3 months have come and gone. Time is flying! He's cooing like crazy but still not digging the "tummy time". When I put him on his stomach he just bashes his nose into the ground rather than trying to pick up his head. You can barely see his neck through all of the chub so I'm beginning to wonder if he has one! If so, it's definitely not very strong at this point. He's lazy but he's such a joy. Love that kid!
